Halley
Co-Founder and Managing Partner |
As a partner of Tioga Venture, Frédéric
has led engagements for many international software
vendors. His specific areas of focus have been strategic
marketing and sales management, addressing topics such
as content management, mobility and manufacturing intelligence.
Before founding Tioga Venture in 2001, Frédéric
worked extensively in many European countries. As Sales
Director of Sourthern Europe for SLP Infoware, a software
leader in predictive CRM, Frédéric developed
the business in six European countries, transforming
the region from zero revenue to the most productive
of the company. Prior to joining SLP Infoware, Frédéric
worked
as a consultant for the Boston Consulting Group, leading
projects in consumer marketing and post merger management
in consumer goods and services. Frédéric
was also a consultant for Accenture, where he focused
on IT and operational issues for Retail and FMCG clients
internationally.
Frédéric earned a MS in Telecommunication
Engineering from Telecom Paris and a MBA from the Northwestern
Kellogg School.

Julien
Mazerolle
Co-Founder and Managing Partner |
As a partner of Tioga Venture, Julien has focused on
serving international software vendors positioned in
markets, such as Operating Systems, Productivity Tools,
Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Content
Management (ECM), Business Performance Management (BPM),
Internet Security and Mobility. His area of expertise
is the telecom and industry markets.
He has concentrated on defining strategy, building value
proposition, defining organization and optimizing sales
productivity. Before founding Tioga in 2001, Julien
built extensive international experience on operational
excellence and value-creation.
As the Vice President of Consulting Services of SLP
Infoware, a software leader in predictive CRM, Julien
positioned the consulting activity on value delivery
and, as a result, doubled consulting revenue every year.
The company was successfully sold to Gemplus at the
end of 2000. Prior to joining SLP Infoware, Julien was
an Engagement Manager for McKinsey & Co, where he
worked with computer and pharmaceutical companies to
develop and implement high-growth strategies. In the
United States, Julien earned a MS in Computer Science
from UCLA and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
In France, Julien graduated from Ecole Polytechnique
and from Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques
Avancées.

Thierry
Aubert
Manager |
As a Manager for Tioga Venture, Thierry has led and
delivered engagements for software vendors in multiple
areas such as Service & Revenue Assurance (telecommunications
industry), Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and
Business Performance Management (BPM). Through management
consulting and operational support, he has played key
roles across the product marketing, presales, professional
services and customer support functions to help Tioga
Venture clients to achieve their objectives.
Prior to joining Tioga Venture early 2003, Thierry
held product marketing and management positions for
enterprise software vendors. As a Senior Program Manager
for MrTed, a Human Resources ASP, he defined, led developments,
and launched the performance management product and
service offerings. Previously, as a Senior Product Manager
for SLP InfoWare, an analytic- CRM software editor,
Thierry setup the product management and marketing organization,
managed the companys product offering and positioning
and contributed to revenue growth through operations
support on strategic deals and projects.
Thierry earned a MS from Institut National des Télécommunications,
and has an MBA from Paris Institut dAdministration
des Entreprises.

Laura Pauli
Marketing Director |
Laura runs the Tioga Venture West office located in
the heart of Silicon Valley. Laura launched her professional
career at Arthur Andersen where she audited companies
in a variety of industries including hi-tech, venture
capital, utilities, sports teams, hospitality and packaged
foods. She then traded her accounting hat for a marketing
hat first at NBC-TV, then at Oracle where she was in
the first internet division. Laura jumped on the dot
com bandwagon but after four years of dot bombs, she
returned to the more stable work of enterprise software
applications at Siebel Systems. At Siebel, Laura first
managed all CEO events and speeches then moved into
the web marketing division managing all global web marketing
initiatives.
In 2003, Laura took a break from the frenetic Silicon
Valley pace to attend the French Culinary Institute.
She then moved to France to cook at some of the best
restaurants, patisseries, and events around the country.
Laura returned to technology in early 2005 providing
marketing consulting expertise to hi-tech companies
including Oracle, SAP, Pertinence, Datamat and Tioga
Venture.
